The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) is the governing body for all of Indiana’s social services programs. FSSA was established in 1991 with the goal of centralizing and improving the state's provision of social and health services for its citizens.

The FSSA provides healthcare and social service funding across eight different agencies. Altogether, the FSSA delivers care and services to more than 1.5 million residents, as represented by its mission:
